We bought our MOBY wrap on the way home from the hospital with our newborn and over the last three months have used it constantly.

All the reasons I love the MOBY:
-It's 100% cotton which makes it super light and breathable and really easy to clean & wash.
-There are TONS of great colors to choose from!
-The price tag is AWESOME compared to more expensive brands like Ergo, Bjorn, etc.
-There are no uncomfortable buckles or snaps to adjust. Again, it's just fabric.
-It tappers off towards each end to make the knot tying easier.
-All the edges are surged which means it doesn't have awkward seams.
-The tag in the middle makes it easy to find the middle which you need to find to put it on correctly.
-There are TONS of great positions that you can use as your baby grows.
-Newborns are SUPER COZY in the MOBY and (in my opinion) can sleep better in it than any other carrier.
-There is even weight spreading so that either shoulder bears the brunt of the weight.
-a 25lb kid feels about as light as a 10 lb kid because of the awesome weight dispersion (I have actually switched out my 10lb baby for my friend's 25 lb baby and it seriously didn't feel that different!!)
-It works AWESOME for nursing moms - it doubles as a carrier/baby support AND nursing cover.
-Not to mention all the reasons you should "wear your baby" in general (they sleep better, they learn more, they are in the center of things without being the center of things, it promotes bonding and reduces maternal depression, etc).

Drawbacks:
-It will probably require watching an online video of how to put it on. The MOBY site has them and so does YOUTUBE.
-You probably should put it on BEFORE you leave the house since it's 15ft of fabric and can drag on the floor when you put it on.
-Hard to put on while sitting down (but totally possible).
-Takes up a fair amount of space in a travel bag.
