Sleepy Wrap Classic Wrap Baby Carrier, Gray, 0-18 Months Review

I have three kids under the age of five, so free hands are a necessity when out in public. When I was pregnant wit my thrid after reading several reviews I told my mom this is what I wanted for a baby gift. Her reply was, "You know its just a long piece of fabric right? And it looks complicated, your never going to use it."

Love the mama, but she was wrong on this one! I have owned several front carriers, slings, wraps and the Sleepy Wrap is by far my favorite and has been a life saver over the past nine months.

Oh ya, and don't be timid, its a lot easier to put on than it looks.

Pros:
* It's comfortable for all! I can wear it for hours and not have a problem. And my little one was so comfortable in it (and still is today at 9 months).
* Easily adjustable (I'm 5'3, my hubby is 6'1 so we can not constantly having to readjust straps when we trade off)
* Easy to pack, easy to store

Cons:
* I'm really short so I have a lot of extra material, I wish they would make a smaller size for those of us under 5'6". On the other hand, I just wrap it around once more and its fine.
* Its hot, but I live in Houston so ever carrier/wrap is hot. However between Sept and May it works great.

Tips for using it:
*It take a couple of times out to figure out of it fits on your body. The higher up on your sternum the fabric crosses, the higher you will carry the child.
* Tie it tight.
* If going out to a store, try putting it on at home (minus the baby of course) so you don't have to do it in the parking lot.
